With nearly a decade of experience in the dental field, Cody brings both clinical expertise and a warm, approachable presence to our team. He began his journey at the front desk, gaining a deep understanding of patient care before earning his license as a dental hygienist. His hands-on experience and dedication to learning have shaped him into a gentle, thorough clinician who prioritizes comfort and connection.

A Colorado native, Cody has spent his life exploring the beauty of the state—and beyond.

When he's not in the office, you'll find him on road trips across the country, soaking in new sights and stories. His love for travel mirrors his passion for meeting people from all walks of life, and he genuinely enjoys getting to know each patient who sits in his chair.

Cody believes that dental hygiene is more than cleanings and checkups—it’s about building trust and supporting your overall health. Whether you're a longtime patient or visiting for the first time, Cody is committed to making your experience positive, personalized, and empowering.

Registered Dental Hygienist 

 Rachael always knew she was interested in the medical field in some way, but found herself being drawn more and more into dental. She started out as a dental assistant to be sure that hygiene was the career path for her, and she absolutely loves it! She earned her Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene and has almost 10 years of experience in the dental field. She loves learning how your oral health is directly linked to the overall health of the rest of your body. She believes that everyone deserves to feel healthy and at their best, and giving patients their best smile is a great way to start! She enjoys breaking down the stigma around going to the dentist, by ensuring that every patient has a positive and compassionate experience. She has two boys ages 9 and 11, and they love being outdoors with all of the fun activities Colorado has to offer, like camping, fishing and hiking. She looks forward to meeting you and helping you meet and sustain all of your smile goals. 

 Dental Assistant 

Jackie is a dedicated dental assistant with a passion for patient care and oral health. Known for her gentle approach and attention to detail, she plays a vital role in ensuring each visit is comfortable and efficient. With a strong foundation in clinical procedures and a warm, reassuring presence, Jackie helps create a welcoming environment for patients of all ages.

Her commitment to teamwork and continuous learning makes her an invaluable part of the practice. Whether assisting during procedures, managing sterilization protocols, or educating patients on dental hygiene, Jackie brings professionalism and compassion to every task. She’s proud to support the team in delivering high-quality care and building lasting relationships with the community.t. 

Dental Assistant 

As someone who experiences dental anxiety herself, Gina strives to ensure every patient receives a calm, comforting experience with a gentle touch. Whether you need a hand to hold, a friendly ear to listen, or someone to guide you through a deep-breathing exercise, Gina is there to help. When not comforting patients, Gina can usually be found curled up on the couch with her cat Donna, playing video games or working in her workshop on various crafts. She enjoys the warm, inviting atmosphere of the team and hopes to make your trip to the dentist a highlight of your day.

Dental Assistant

Nya brings energy and empathy to her role as a dental assistant, making every patient feel seen and supported. With a natural talent for communication and a calm demeanor, she helps ease dental anxieties and ensures each appointment runs smoothly. Her hands-on skills and dedication to precision make her a trusted partner in delivering top-tier care.

Beyond the chairside duties, Nya is passionate about educating patients on preventive care and oral hygiene. She thrives in a collaborative environment and is always eager to learn new techniques and technologies. Her commitment to excellence and her genuine care for others make her an essential part of the team and a favorite among patients.

Treatment Coordinator 

 Spencer is a friendly face who greets patients and guides them through their treatment journey. He has a background in surgical assisting and has coordinated patient schedules for two dentists within a single practice. Spencer strives to ensure that each patient feels at ease—whether they’re coming in for a routine check-up or seeking emergency care. Outside of work, he’s passionate about Dungeons & Dragons and enjoys exploring a wide variety of video games.

Receptionist 

 Riah welcomes every patient with a smile and keeps our schedule running smoothly. She has a background in customer service and a gift for making people feel grounded and relaxed. She is also a master of multitasking and creating meaningful conversations. Outside the office, Riah is an avid reader, binger of TV shows and movies, and a fur mom to a dog, Sirius, and two cats, Jazzy and Iroh. Riah loves being part of a team that values kindness, laughter and compassion.  

 Sleep Therapy Assistant 

 Omnia was born and raised in Colorado and it has been home for 25 years. She recently completed her Master's Degree in Anatomy from the University of Colorado, where she developed a deep appreciation for the human body - especially the head and neck region. She appreciates dentistry because she is able to connect with patients on a deeply personal level.   She loves witnessing the transformation with improved oral health, and seeing how it positively impacts a person's self confidence.  Omnia enjoys spending time with her friends and family, trying new restaurants, event planning, cooking ethnic dishes, and (attempting to) train as a runner. 

Practice Advisor

With over 30 years in the dental field, Karla brings warmth, precision, and a deep commitment to patient care. After a brief detour into medical administration, she returned to dentistry—her true professional passion. At Havana Street Dental, Karla thrives in her role, especially working alongside Dr. Mitchell, whose compassion and leadership inspire her daily. Karla is known for her attention to detail, her genuine connections with patients, and her eagerness to support both the team and those they serve. A lifelong learner with a love for psychology and reading, she’s also a devoted animal advocate, especially for those without homes. Outside the office, Karla and her husband share a mission to help others—he is currently abroad supporting children and families in need, a reflection of the values they live by.

Office Coordinator

Rita brings a calm, organized presence to our front office, ensuring every patient experience is smooth and welcoming. With a strong background in administrative coordination and a genuine passion for patient care, she keeps our schedule running efficiently and supports the entire team with precision and warmth. Whether she’s answering questions, managing logistics, or helping patients feel at ease, Rita is truly the heartbeat of our practice.  Outside the office, Rita enjoys photography and spending time in nature, always on the lookout for her next great shot. When she’s not behind the camera, you’ll likely find her hanging out with her cat, Beans—her constant companion and unofficial supervisor.
